Educational Opportunities
Senior Professionals offers adult-enrichment programs for community members through Academy of Seniors, Mornings with the Professors, and Classroom Journey bus trips. The classes are held throughout the year and cover a wide range of subjects including current events, history, literature, art, sciences and more. Classes are taught by professors from Illinois State University, Illinois Wesleyan University, and by community experts. Academy of Seniors classes offer four two-hour sessions for a total of eight hours of content. Mornings with the Professors are offered on Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30 am in the spring and fall. Each of the five lectures offers insight into a specific topic.

Mornings with Professors Programming Change - March 29
Dick Watts will no longer be able to join us on March 29. In his place, Retired United States Ambassador and inaugural Donald F. McHenry Visiting Professor in Diplomacy and International Affairs at ISU, Geeta Pasi, will present a session titled A Peek Behind the Curtain: Demystifying the For Foreign Service.
